Philosophy

Mental health issues can truly affect all aspects of a person’s life, including their relationships, work and physical health. Additionally, having a mental health problem continues to be stigmatized in society, which can make one feel even more alone. I believe that a physician who listens carefully and well in combination with the right medication, therapy and life changes can make a positive impact on a person’s mental health, no matter what the condition. I believe that offering the best care possible means spending the time needed to truly understand and think about a case and all of the factors that may be contributing.
